We, Zeryalist Tur. İnş. Tic. LTD. ŞTİ. (“Residence 222”), the operator of Residence 222 Hisarönü, value the protection of your personal data. Therefore, we kindly ask you to read this text, which explains in detail what personal data we use and for what purposes.
Why am I reading this text?
Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which came into effect on April 7, 2016, requires the "Data Controller" to inform individuals whose personal data is being processed (referred to as the "data subject" under the law) about the processing of their data.
Why are my personal data being used?
As Meri Hotel, we process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To carry out our communication activities with you (For example, we process your personal data to provide information about the transactions you have carried out and to obtain your approvals),
- To receive your accommodation request, establish an accommodation agreement, and fulfill your accommodation (For example, we process your personal data to record your reservation request, confirm it if necessary, and provide your accommodation),
- To execute and invoice the payment related to your reservation (For example, we process this data to issue an invoice after you confirm your reservation and to ensure your accommodation),
- To carry out the follow-up and invoicing processes related to the services you use (For example, we process personal data to follow up daily on the use of our minibar or dry cleaning services and to invoice the fees),
- To fulfill our legal obligations (For example, we are required to keep your identity information and check-in and check-out records on a daily basis and submit them to the competent public authorities within the scope of the “Identity Notification” legislation)
- To ensure the security of the physical premises (For example, we process your security camera footage to ensure the security of our hotel and to report to the competent authorities in case of a judicial incident).
We process your personal data to achieve these purposes and do not use your personal data for any purposes other than these.

Important Note: It is assumed that you have made the necessary notification to the persons you will be staying with that you have shared their personal data with us.
How and on what legal basis are my personal data obtained?
As Meri Hotel, we collect your personal data through:
- The Accommodation Form provided by the reception and filled out during the reservation,
- Your identity document for verification purposes in accordance with the information provided in the Accommodation Form,
- Our records regarding the services you use,
- The camera recording system.
We collect your personal data sometimes through digital and sometimes through non-digital methods.
We collect your personal data within the scope of your relationship with our company for the purposes of establishing and executing necessary contracts, fulfilling our legally recognized legitimate interests without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms, processing your personal data as required for the establishment, use, or protection of a right, and fulfilling our legal obligations as mandated by law.
Are my personal data transferred to others?
Yes, we can transfer your personal data to official institutions, our auditors, our lawyers, or the infrastructure service providers where we keep reservation records. However, we only transfer it within the scope of specific purposes and with your knowledge. Therefore, your personal data may be transferred to:
- Lawyers, auditors, tax consultants, and other third parties from whom we receive consultancy and services, in order to carry out our business processes in accordance with the law and our legitimate interests and to exercise our right to defense in a possible legal process,
- Regulatory and supervisory institutions, law enforcement agencies, courts, and enforcement offices, as well as other official institutions authorized to request your personal data, such as the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), to fulfill our legal obligations,
- Your attorneys, legal representatives, or agents, if requested by you,
- Online reservation companies, in case you make your reservation online, for the completion of your reservation and the provision of accommodation services,
- Our partner companies, for the purpose of invoicing related to your reservation.
What rights does KVKK grant me?
We inform you that as the data subject you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed,
- If your personal data has been processed, to request related information,
- To learn the purposes of the personal data processing activities concerning your personal data and whether they have been used accordingly,
- To learn which third parties domestic or abroad your personal data has been transferred to,
- To demand correction in case your personal data has been processed deficiently or in a wrong way and to demand operations in this regard be reported to third parties your personal data has been transferred to,
- To demand the erasure or annihilation of personal data in case the reasons necessitating the processing have disappeared even though it was processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant provisions and to demand the operations in this regard be reported to third parties your personal data has been transferred to,
- To object in case outcomes to the detriment of yourself occur from the analysis of the personal data solely via automated systems,
- To demand indemnification in case you suffer damages occurring from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
How can I exercise my rights?
You can submit your application by:

- Sending a registered electronic mail (KEP) to [email protected]
In your application, it is mandatory to include:
- Your name, surname, and signature if the application is in writing,
- Your Turkish ID number for Turkish citizens; if you are a foreigner, your nationality, passport number, or if applicable, your identity number,
- Your residential or workplace address for notification,
- Your email address, telephone number, and fax number for notification, if any,
- Your request, and if applicable, information and documents related to the subject.
Your application will be concluded within thirty days, and (i) your request may be accepted and you will be informed accordingly, or (ii) it may be rejected with an explanation of the reasons.
